Executive Chef and Owner, Shawn McFalls has been in food service for over 20 years. At the age of 15 he started as a dishwasher for a local bakery; then proceeded to various other positions from a service station to café worker to Executive Chef at Charlotte Motor Speedway, servicing known clients such as Michael Jordan and O. Bruton Smith. 

 

For the last few years he has dreamed of giving the same fresh, innovative approach with GRATE Catering Co.  GRATE Catering Co offers catering and event services in Kannapolis, Concord, Charlotte, Mooresville and surrounding areas. From weekly family meals to large corporate events, weddings and dinner parties- prepared from scratch with the freshest local ingredients.
